We also assist our customers with warehouse storage including the unloading of containers, loading of pallets to transport and de-bagging bulk bags into tankers.

About the role:

Golding Transport Industries are looking for an experienced and versatile person to fill a varied role at our Burton location on a permanent Full-time basis. This will include cleaning and preparing tanks and equipment, and warehouse duties including Forklift Operations. Forklift license and experience is a must have.

Duties:

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role in a busy transport yard. You’ll help keep equipment clean, ready, and moving as well as warehousing duties.

• Thorough washing/cleaning of tankers

• Forklift Operations, loading pallets to transport

• Unloading pallets from containers

• Decant Bulk Bags into tankers when required

• Communicating with Workshop and Operations

• Other appropriate duties as instructed

• Follow all company OHS policies and procedures

• Keep the yard, wash bay and storage areas tidy and safe

Skills and Experience:

• Current Forklift License & Forklift experience (essential)

• Current Driver’s License

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic (desired but not essential)

• Experience driving with a trailer (desired but not essential)

• Experience in the transport industry (desired but not essential)

• Reliable and proactive with a safety-first mindset

• Attention to detail with regards to your duties

• Can work unsupervised and follow instructions

• Good communication skills and work ethic
