Dentist - Banksia Grove

Opportunity
A part-time Associate Dentist role is available in a small, tight-knit general practice in Perth's outer northern suburbs, in a clinic that's investing seriously in its clinical setup and its people.

The practice runs three fully equipped surgery rooms, complete with on-site OPG and CBCT imaging, an intraoral scanner, and a full implant system and kit. Lab work is sent externally rather than milled in-house, so you're not expected to manage chairside CAD/CAM, your time stays focused on patient care. Two principal dentists work across the practice, one with a strong cosmetic and prosthodontic focus covering crowns, veneers and Invisalign, and the other concentrating on surgical implants, so there's a genuine, established referral pathway either way for cases outside your comfort zone.

Rather than being paired with a single assistant, the practice deliberately rotates its dental nurses across the team so that everyone works with everyone. It's a small, close, friendly practice by design, and the team culture is built around mutual support rather than fixed pairings.

This is a genuine growth position. The practice currently runs most surgeries two days a week except Fridays, and management is actively planning to increase capacity, including a move from two days to three within roughly six months as one of the practice's dentists heads off on maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry across exams, fillings and restorative treatment
• Use on-site imaging and scanning technology as part of routine diagnosis and planning
• Refer complex cosmetic, prosthodontic or surgical cases to principal dentists
• Work collaboratively across a rotating team of dental assistants
• Contribute to a supportive, close-knit practice culture

About You
You're a general dentist with solid clinical experience, comfortable managing routine and restorative dentistry independently. Advanced surgical or cosmetic experience isn't required, mentorship is genuinely available if you want to build those skills, but you should be confident working across a broad general caseload day to day.

You'll do well here if you're a genuine team player who's happy working with different assistants throughout the week rather than one fixed pairing, and if you're motivated by a role that will grow over time rather than one that's already at capacity.

Location
The practice is based in Perth's outer northern growth corridor, a fast expanding part of the metro area popular with young families, with new estates, schools and shopping continuing to develop. Train access is available via Currambine and Joondalup stations for anyone commuting in from other suburbs.
