Customer Service Assistant -Retail Butcher

We’re passionate about fresh, quality produce and creating memorable customer experiences – and now we’re looking for an enthusiastic Retail Butcher Customer Service Assistant to bring that same passion to our busy Gasworks Plaza store located in Newstead.

This can be a Casual, Part-Time or Full-Time position. University students with flexible availability are encouraged to apply.

What We Are Looking For

• Customer Focused - Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service with a friendly personality.

• Flexible Availability: Full flexibility to fill shifts across weekdays and weekends for an immediate start.

• Food & Meat Handling: Comfortable handling and touching raw meat in a fast-paced environment.

• Background: Ideally, previous experience within hospitality or food retail.

• Work Ethic: Reliable, hardworking, and a true team player who is passionate about gourmet food.

What the Role Involves

• Customer Service: Assisting customers, taking orders, and traying/wrapping/pricing a variety of gourmet meat products.

• Merchandising: Setting up visual product displays to uphold our high store standards.

• Preparation & Hygiene: Assisting with basic food preparation (handling raw meat) and maintaining sanitation through regular cleaning duties.
