Avive Health is a private mental health provider established in 2021, delivering integrated inpatient and day programs. Our services focus on continuity of care, supporting patients through assessment, treatment and recovery within a structured clinical environment.
About the Role
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs/EENs) to join our inpatient mental health team in Windsor QLD, with full-time, part-time and casual roles available.
This role involves delivering safe, effective and patient-centred nursing care within a multidisciplinary team. You will support patients across a range of programs including mental health, substance use, trauma and dual diagnosis.
Shifts are available across a 7-day roster, including morning, afternoon and night duty.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients
Conduct assessments, monitor progress and escalate clinical concerns
Administer medications in line with policies and legislative requirements
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Patient Support & Engagement
Support patients through admission, treatment and discharge processes
Contribute to care planning and therapeutic interventions
Facilitate or assist with group programs where required
Team Collaboration
Work closely with nursing, medical and allied health teams
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and handovers
Contribute to a collaborative and professional team environment
Quality & Compliance
Adhere to policies, procedures and clinical standards
Participate in incident reporting and risk management processes
Support quality improvement and accreditation activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
Experience in mental health nursing or a strong interest in developing in this area
Understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic approaches
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work across a rotating roster
Mandatory Requirements
Relevant nursing qualification and current registration
Current Police Check (within 12 months) or willingness to obtain
Evidence of required immunisations
