About UsMaxim Energy is an established, electrician-led solar and battery installation company based in Glen Waverley. With more than 1,200 installations completed across Victoria, we take pride in delivering safe, neat and high-quality workmanship.
We are looking for an experienced Solar Roofer or a 2nd–3th Year Electrical Apprentice with solar experience to join our installation team.
About the RoleYou will work alongside experienced electricians and installers on residential solar and battery projects throughout South-East Melbourne and surrounding areas.
This is an ongoing position offering consistent work for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and takes pride in completing installations to a high standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesMeasuring and marking roofs for solar panel layouts
Installing solar rails, mounting equipment and panels
Fitting panels in tight or difficult roof spaces
Working safely on tiled and metal roofs
Preparing and carrying installation materials
Maintaining clean, safe and organised worksites
Assisting the installation team with general solar work
Completing DC cabling and electrical installation work under appropriate supervision, for electrical apprentices
Following company procedures and workplace safety requirements
Experienced Solar Roofer or current 2nd–3th Year Electrical Apprentice
Minimum one year of solar installation experience
Confident and experienced working safely on residential roofs
Good understanding of solar panel layouts and mounting systems
Current White Card
Current Working at Heights certification
Current driver’s licence
Own reliable vehicle and transport to job sites
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Full Australian working rights
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Consistent ongoing work
