People Systems Lead

Reporting to the Reward and People Operations Manager the People Systems Lead will lead the HRIS function, overseeing the delivery, support, optimisation, and continuous improvement of WesTrac's People Systems landscape, including SuccessFactors. Leading a small team, you will ensure system excellence, data integrity, and the successful delivery of People Systems projects and enhancements.

Roster: Monday - Friday 8.5 hours per day (including meal break)

Location: South Guildford

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of People Systems Specialists, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused team culture.
• Oversee day-to-day HRIS operations, system support, governance, and data integrity across WesTrac's People Systems landscape.
• Optimise SuccessFactors and other People Systems to improve processes, automate workflows, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Partner with People & Culture, IT, and business stakeholders to understand needs, triage requests, develop solutions, and deliver system enhancements.
• Lead system projects, upgrades, proof of concepts, and continuous improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation.
• Provide expert technical advice, coaching, and guidance to stakeholders on People Systems, processes, and best practice use.
• Support strong systems governance by ensuring compliance with data security, access management, reporting, and process requirements.

About You

• Experience leading HRIS, HCM, or People Systems functions minimum 5-8 years.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise HR systems, ideally SuccessFactors.
• Proven people leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Relevant degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Systems, or similar.
