Delivery Capability Lead

This role designs and embeds the frameworks, methodologies and ways of working that lift delivery across icare's technology function - then coaches teams and leaders to make them stick.

It's a role with reach: the practices you build shape how every squad delivers.

About the role

You'll own delivery capability across the technology and delivery function - the standards, playbooks and methodologies that give teams a consistent, effective way to deliver and the agile and lean practices that lift delivery maturity over time.

Just as importantly, you'll make them real through coaching, facilitation and targeted uplift - working alongside squads and leaders to strengthen how they plan, prioritise and execute.

It's a role that blends framework design with hands-on coaching, and its impact shows up in the delivery performance of the whole function.

What you'll do - capability and frameworks

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of delivery capability frameworks, methodologies and ways of working across the function
• Define standard delivery methodologies and best practice aligned to corporate governance standards
• Build and maintain the delivery standards, playbooks, templates and guidance that support consistent execution
• Support the adoption and optimisation of agile, lean and contemporary delivery methodologies across teams and portfolios
• Support the optimisation of delivery tooling, collaboration platforms and workflow practices
• Contribute to integrated planning so strategic priorities, delivery pipelines and team capacity stay aligned

What you'll do - coaching and culture

• Coach and advise delivery teams, leaders and practitioners to strengthen delivery maturity and effectiveness
• Identify capability gaps and workforce development needs, and run targeted uplift initiatives to close them
• Design delivery learning programs, workshops and communities of practice to build capability across the organisation
• Partner with technology and business leaders to embed consistent practices and improve planning, collaboration and execution
• Monitor delivery maturity and adoption of agreed ways of working, and turn what you see into practical recommendations
• Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and customer-focused delivery across teams

What you'll bring

• 5+ years in technology delivery, agile coaching, delivery management or capability uplift roles
• Proven experience implementing and embedding delivery frameworks, methodologies and ways of working across multiple teams or portfolios
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading agile or lean adoption or [send me the rest of this line]
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to uplift capability across both teams and leaders
• The stakeholder skills to influence and embed change without direct authority, across technology and business
• A tertiary qualification in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience
