Qualifications & experience

• 5 + years’ experience in the Horticulture industry

• Current unrestricted drivers’ licence

• Qualification in Horticulture or equivalent desirable, but not essential if you have the experience.

• Experience operating and maintaining large range of commercial landscape maintenance equipment.

• The ability to lead and encourage team members to work effectively together.

• Good time management and communication skills

• Current Chemcert is desirable, or willing to obtain.

• The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace

• Diligent and consisent in completing all WHS, quality and environmental paperwork

• A desire to provide a high quality commercial maintenance service

Tasks & responsibilities

• Manage a team on a full-time run in and around Sutherland Shire

• Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site

• Management of team to ensure efficiency and quality is maintained.

• Regularly liaising with our Management Team and work with them to provide a high quality service for the client.

• Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.

• Role is run based, working with the team to ensure targets are met.

• Management of a variety of landscapes onsite, more specifically parks and gardens.

• Identification and treatment of plant deficiencies and/or pest and disease.

• Completion of associated documentation on regular basis.
