Field Services Technician

Job description

We currently on the lookout for a Field Services Technician to be based out of our branch in Somerton.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this is a highly valued and critical role in ensuring our equipment is safe, up to standard, serviced and ready for hire.

In this role, you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing and preventative maintenance of our extensive range of hire equipment ensuring exceptional quality with an attention to detail.

The position is Full Time working Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm and includes the use of a company vehicle.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment

• Maintain up-to-date service records for all service and repair work

• Minimise operational downtime of equipment

• Promote Safety in the workplace

• Preventative maintenance of our hire equipment
  

Experience required:

To be successful for this job, you will need a high level of customer service and can-do attitude as well as the following:

• Mechanical trade qualification is required

• Current Driver's License

• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics pneumatics and basic electrical skills preferred

• Effective time management and attention to detail

• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills

• Your commitment to safety in the workplace
