Electrical Linesman and crane/borer oprators

Distribution Linesman and Crane borer operators

Electrical distribution, some minor transmission work. The work entails all facets of linework - dressing and standing poles, poles subs, stringing mains etc, from urban to rural areas.

Ability to work overtime, and some short away from home works.

Crane/borer operator position - we're happy to train the right candidate, ideally you are already an authorised plant operator working in the power environment.

Transmission Linesman/ TAs

Electrical transmission, from poles and H structures to 330kv towers. Work consists of pole dressing and erection, occasional tower erection, stringing etc. The works are mainly away projects where you'll be paid LAFHA, however, there may be occasions where you'll be in Sydney where LAFHA won't apply

Your responsibilities will include:

-            Study and interpret the drawings, network line diagrams and maps

-            Climbing of transmission structures

-            Undertake maintenance inspections of electrical transmission networks in accordance with Client/Company policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements.

-            Undertake minor ancillary work as required

-            Construction of towers

-            Stringing of short sections

Essential:

-            Construction White Card

-            Demonstrated ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace

-            Willing to travel

-            Proven ability to work productively as part of a team, in a fast paced and changing workplace

-            Driver’s License 

Preferred but not essential, will provide training to the right applicants:

-            Certificate III ESI in transmission/distribution Overhead

-            Work at Height 

-            CPR

-            Dogging

-            Rigging

-            High Risk Work License
