Sales Representative

About the role

This is a hands-on business development position focused on identifying and securing new customers throughout metropolitan Adelaide. You will meet with prospective customers, understand their delivery requirements and present practical courier and transport solutions suited to their business.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities

• Prospecting and contacting potential customers

• Arranging and attending face-to-face sales appointments

• Preparing proposals, quotations and service solutions

• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective customers

• Following up enquiries and converting opportunities into active accounts

• Working closely with operations to ensure new customers are onboarded successfully

• Maintaining accurate records of sales activity and customer communication

• Representing Jet Couriers professionally throughout the Adelaide business community

• Occasionally entertaining customers and attending networking or industry events outside normal business hours

About you

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

• The confidence to make calls, arrange appointments and meet prospective customers

• A professional, reliable and self-motivated approach

• The ability to work independently and manage a sales territory

• Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills

• Flexibility to attend occasional customer functions outside normal business hours

• A current Australian driver's licence

• Experience in courier, transport, logistics or related services will be highly regarded, but is not essential
