Big Changes Psychology is building a national team of psychologists to provide high-quality psychological therapy to adults across Australia.

We are looking for thoughtful, capable psychologists who value good clinical practice, evidence-based treatment and the flexibility of working entirely via telehealth.

Focus on psychology. We take care of the rest.

Our aim is to make private practice professionally rewarding without requiring psychologists to manage the administrative burden that often comes with it.

Big Changes Psychology manages client enquiries, referrals, appointment administration, billing, Medicare processing and practice systems.

This means you can spend more of your working time doing what you trained to do - providing excellent psychological care.

A deliberately focused service

Big Changes Psychology provides individual psychological therapy to adults aged 18 and over.

Our psychologists work with common mental health concerns including:

·  Depression

·  Generalised anxiety disorder

·  Obsessive-compulsive disorder

·  Panic disorder

·  Social anxiety

·  Agoraphobia

·  Stress and adjustment difficulties

We maintain a clearly defined scope of practice so that psychologists are matched with clients appropriate for a national telehealth service.

We do not provide couples or family therapy, medico-legal services, court or employment assessments, or treatment for presentations requiring a higher level of care (i.e. crisis management). Additionally, we do not accept referrals for WorkCover, TAC, or from other third-party funded organisations.

Clinical quality matters

We want Big Changes Psychology to be known for the quality and consistency of its clinical care.

Psychologists have access to structured clinical training, evidence-based treatment protocols, practical clinical guides and professionally developed client resources supporting the conditions commonly seen within the service.

Our objective is not to dictate how experienced psychologists practise. It is to create a professional environment in which clinicians have excellent resources, clear clinical frameworks and opportunities to continue developing their skills.

Work from anywhere in Australia

The service is entirely telehealth.

You can nominate the days and hours you wish to work and your preferred regular caseload.

We welcome psychologists seeking to establish a consistent telehealth caseload, whether alongside other professional work or as a substantial part of their private practice.

There are no rooms to rent and no requirement to travel to a clinic.

Remuneration

Psychologists join Big Changes Psychology as independent contractors and receive 60% of professional fees.

Current professional fees are:

Clinical Psychologists - $275 per consultation ($300 after hours)

Registered Psychologists - $225 per consultation ($250 after hours)

About you

We are interested in psychologists who bring sound clinical judgement, professionalism and genuine commitment to evidence-based psychological care.

You will require:

·  Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA

·  Eligibility to provide psychological services under Medicare

·  Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

·  An ABN

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills

·  Commitment to evidence-based psychological practice

·  Willingness to participate in Big Changes Psychology's clinical training and practice frameworks
