Financial Advice Assistant

About the role

Braeside Wealth is looking for a motivated and organised Financial Advice Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate, or someone nearing completion of their degree, who is interested in business, finance and helping people achieve better financial outcomes. 

This is a full-time role, but this is negotiable for students completing their studies. Working closely with our advisers, you'll support the delivery of high-quality financial advice and gain exposure to each stage of the advice process. This is more than an administration role. You'll learn from experienced advisers, build your technical knowledge and develop the skills required to progress towards a future career as a Financial Adviser.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing client review documentation and reports

• Assisting with research and advice preparation

• Coordinating client communications and follow-up actions

• Maintaining client records and compliance documentation

• Supporting the implementation of advice recommendations

• Assisting with administration and office coordination

About you

• Have completed, or expect to complete within the next 18 months, a Bachelor of Commerce, Business or related degree

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar applications

• Previous office, administration, customer service or professional services experience is favourable but not essential
