The Role - A Day in the Life of an Business Advisor

You will provide flexible and practical Self-Employment Assistance to eligible participants, including the provision of business coaching, advice and mentoring services. This role will require travel between our Chermside and Mitchelton office.

Your Key Responsibilities will include;

• Provide business mentoring and coaching services to new and established businesses under the Self-Employment program adhering to contractual requirements
• Promote the service and engage with potential participants to meet set KPI’s in the selected Region
• Manage a caseload of Self-Employment businesses to coach
• Complete all required data entries into Workforce Australia Online and ETC Trackers, within KPI/guidelines and timeframes

Criteria for Success

• Relevant business qualification
• Demonstrated experience in managing a small business
• Experience in providing advisory, facilitation and/or mentoring support to small businesses, including demonstrated ability to analyse and provide recommendations on a broad range of business issues
• Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• A current, clear National Police Check
• A current QLD Blue Card
