Defects & Maintenance Manager | Commercial Builder

As our project portfolio continues to grow, we're seeking a proactive and experienced Defects & Maintenance Manager to support our clients beyond project completion, ensuring defects are resolved efficiently and every project continues to meet the high standards Calida is known for.
The RoleConduct monthly inspections of active DLP sites and proactively identify defects.Manage defect rectification from identification through to client sign-off and close-out.Maintain accurate defect registers, documentation and reporting using digital systems.Build strong relationships with clients and act as the primary post-completion point of contact.Coordinate subcontractors and schedule works to minimise disruption to live venues.Identify, scope and quote additional works opportunities for existing clients.Provide regular reporting on defect status, client feedback and additional works pipeline.

The RequirementsExperience in construction site management, project coordination, contract administration or a relevant trade background.Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, defects management and subcontractor coordination.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities independently.Experience using Procore or similar construction management software.Current White Card and a valid driver's licence.
