As our business continues to grow through new contract wins, we're looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our Mackay workshop team. These are residential positions, ideally suited to candidates living in the Mackay region.

About the Role

As a Diesel Fitter, you'll play a key role in maintaining and rebuilding heavy mobile equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on diesel engines and components

• Completing full machinery rebuilds, with a focus on CAT and Komatsu equipment

• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs

• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to deliver quality outcomes

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A trade qualification in Diesel Fitting (or equivalent)

• Experience working on CAT and Komatsu equipment

• Proven experience with bare chassis rebuilds and heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• A genuine commitment to safety, quality, and workmanship
