Maintenance Fitter

About the role

This is a maintenance role focused on keeping plant equipment and machinery operating efficiently and safely across the site. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 6.30 am to 12.30.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across the site

• Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient and help improve plant efficiency

• Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective, lasting solutions

• Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures

About you

• Minimum Certificate III in a mechanical trade, Fitter & Turner

• Experience in breakdown and preventative maintenance

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Hands on, practical experience in a maintenance environment

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

• Experience in production maintenance, repair, and fabrication

• Welding certificate

• Forklift license

• Must have work in Australia rights
