Fire Alarm Installer

MSS Base Fire Alarm Installer is one of Sydney’s Leading Fire Protection companies and have been providing Design and Construct Fire Services for over 20 years.

Due to ongoing and growing demand we now have a great opportunity available to employ a qualified and experienced Fire Alarm Installer/Electrician on a permanent basis to join our construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Install fire detection, alarm and EWIS systems, including wiring, devices, panels and associated equipment.

·       Carry out system testing, commissioning, repairs, modifications and fault rectification.

·       Read and interpret drawings, schematics and project specifications.

·       Coordinate with supervisors, project managers and other trades to deliver works efficiently.

·       Ensure all work meets Australian Standards, legislation, project requirements and safety standards.

Experience required:

·       Current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence, Construction White Card and Australian Driver Licence.

·       Demonstrated experience installing fire detection, alarm and EWIS systems on construction sites.

·       Experience with fire indicator panels, occupant warning systems, building-services interfaces, wiring and equipment fit-off.

·       Knowledge of relevant fire detection and electrical Australian Standards, with manufacturer/industry training highly regarded.

·       Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills with a reliable, safety-focused approach.

Valid Work Rights

You must be an Australian Citizen, Australia Permanent Resident or have a valid working visa.  

You must be able to obtain police clearance and working with children check.
