We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Sales & Administration Officer to join our Monbulk branch and play a key role in supporting branch operations, branch inventory management, and customer service activities.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, maintaining branch stock levels, supporting branch administration, and providing exceptional service to both customers and suppliers. This is a varied role that combines administration, inventory control, customer support, and branch operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing branch purchasing processes and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Coordinating stock ordering and communicating supply delays where required.
Monitoring supplier pricing and communicating price changes internally.
Liaising with suppliers and Head Office teams.
Assisting with stocktake planning and execution.
Providing outstanding service via phone, email, and over-the-counter enquiries.
Supporting branch administration, banking, and reporting requirements.
Assisting with general store and branch operations as required.
Ensuring compliance with WHS and Agsafe requirements.
Maintaining accurate records and supporting process improvements across the branch.
About You - to be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in administration, branch purchasing, inventory control, customer service, or a similar role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills and confidence using business systems.
A team-focused attitude with a willingness to support colleagues across the branch.
A commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
A current driver's licence.
Experience within agriculture, horticulture, rural merchandise, warehousing, or supply chain environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
