Trainer/Assessor

Paramount College is seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team in Sydney CBD and Parramatta campus. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivery and assessment of Paramount College programs to students, review of learning materials and assessment tools.

We are looking for Trainer & Assessor for multiple qualifications:

· Certificate III in Stonemasonry, Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining

· Certificate III in Glass & Glazing, Certificate III in Roof Plumbing, Certificate III in Solid Plastering, Certificate III in Painting & Decorating,

· Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

Candidate must fulfill following criteria:

· At least 1-3 years of experience as Trainer & Assessor in Registered Training Organisation

· Relevant vocational and tertiary qualifications

· Relevant industry experience

· Continuous participation in professional development, workshop and webinar in vocational and industry relevant.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Deliver Training under the Business Services Training Package and in line with the Institute’s Training and Assessment Strategies

· Ensure students are exposed to a variety of teaching strategies and assessment methods in accordance with their needs as learners and the programs Training and Assessment Strategy

· Ensure a positive and safe learning environment in line with the Institute’s policies and procedures

· Develop teaching aids and course materials as required designated for face to face delivery including supporting materials.

· Submit a 10-week Session Training Plan before commencement of each term to the Course Coordinator

· Ensure all students receive appropriate feedback after each assessment in line with Paramount College’s policies and procedures

· Complete and submit all marked assessments (including assessments summary coversheet, assessments, marking guide) & result within 5 working days of each unit completion to the Academic Manager.

· Ensure familiarisation of self and students with safety procedures and other policies and procedures of college.

· Participate effectively in performance reviews conducted by college.

· Ensure continued development of skills and knowledge relating to Vocational education and training (VET) knowledge and skills, specifically competency-based training and assessment skills, industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

· Collaborating with the student services & admin to provide support to students

Pay: $45.00 – $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week

Education:

• Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• TAE (Required)
• Relevant qualification (Preferred)
