Looking for full-time Cook

Royal India and Pakistani Restaurant is looking for a full-time Cook to operate the kitchen team at their restaurant based in Pendle Hill.

Duties include, but not limited to:

·         Preparing food ingredients for different menu items using established procedures.

·         Performing routine opening procedures.

·         Prepare grill orders like breakfast, burgers and other meals.

·         Carrying out cutting, chopping, dicing of meat, poultry and veggies.

·         Correctly preparing the food serving standard recipes and special diet/ customer orders.

·         Regulate temperature of ovens, grills and other equipment.

·         Maintaining proper health and hygiene standards.

·         Following safe work practices and Ethics.

·         Apportion food for serving.

·         Observe proper food preparation, handling and storage techniques.

·         Report necessary equipment repairs and maintenance to the Managers.

·         Always keep work area neat and clean and maintain food cutting and preparation devices.

·         Pitch in and work as a part of team.

·         Examine proper food storage and Rotation.

·         Ensure effective stock needs and reporting.

·         Preparing daily stock orders.

·         Following frequent written and oral instructions and procedures.

An ideal candidate should be:

·         Professionally qualified

·         Flexible to work on weekends

·         Punctual, honest and able to manage time according to priorities

·         Must have good communication skills

·         Able to work under pressure

Experience Required: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position is must.

Good Salary package ($80,000 pa + Super)
