Science Teacher

Downlands College is seeking applications from qualified teachers registered with the Queensland College of Teachers for a full-time, permanent position as a secondary Science teacher, commencing with the start of the 2027 academic year.

Requirements

• Qualifications to teach Secondary Science

• Capacity to teach Senior Biology or Senior Physics may be advantageous

• Capacity to teach Religious Education may be advantageous

• Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College

• Confidence in extending and enriching student learning

• Knowledge and understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards and their relevance to effective teaching and learning 

Salary

$86, 600 - $124, 724 (FTE) plus super
