Front Office Manager

Following our exciting transformation into one of Sydney's leading upscale airport hotels, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What you'll do:

• Lead, coach and develop the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee all Front Office operations, including Reception, Guest Services and Night Audit
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, policies and procedures
• Drive guest satisfaction by proactively resolving guest feedback and service recovery opportunities
• Manage departmental rosters, labour costs and productivity
• Monitor departmental budgets and financial performance
• Build a positive and engaged team culture through coaching, recognition and development
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Maintenance to ensure smooth hotel operations
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a hotel environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a diverse team
• A genuine passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Opera PMS (preferred)
• Sound financial acumen, including labour management and budgeting
• The ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
