Graduate Business Development Associate

About the role

We're looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a Business Development Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of business development, build strong industry relationships, and gain hands-on experience in the world of lending and property finance. You'll work closely with senior leaders, receive mentorship, and develop the skills needed to become a future Business Development Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Gaining a deep understanding of our products, lending criteria, and the property finance market.
• Assisting in engaging with mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and other key introducers.
• Contributing to lead generation activities, including attending networking events and industry functions.
• Supporting the team with pipeline tracking, competitor research, and performance insights.
• Learning how to achieve origination targets and contribute to team success.

About you

• A recent graduate in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in building relationships.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Interest in property, lending, or financial services (prior exposure is a bonus but not essential).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
