Accounts Payable Officer

About the role and where you will be working:

Deliver exceptional customer service while overseeing the administration and management of accounts payable. Ensure accurate, timely payments to vendors and contractors, maintaining compliance with agreed terms and fostering strong business relationships.

This is a max term full time position based in Rivervale, WA commencing on the 31st of August 2026 until 20th of November 2026.

Duties for this role may include the following:

• Responsible for the timely processing and payment of a high volume of vendor invoices and payment requisitions utilising company procedures and protocols
• Receive invoices, check for accuracy and match with purchase orders and/or delivery dockets
• Ensure compliance with appropriate authorisation procedures
• Forward invoices for approval if required
• Follow up queries on invoices with the Heads of Department or Managers

To be considered for this role you'll be:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role in a large and complex service delivery organisation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Demonstrate ability to accurately process a high volume of invoices daily
• Demonstrated knowledge of and understanding of relevant Accounts payable practices and principals
• Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise responsibilities and multitask
