The opportunity

Rosmech Sales and Service Pty Ltd, a leading provider of automotive services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Trades Assistant to join our dynamic team in Salisbury Plain, South Australia. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our experienced tradespeople and ensuring the efficient operation of our workshop while adding to your automotive experience.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Performing basic mechanical work

2. Assisting tradespeople with a variety of tasks, including vehicle maintenance

3. Providing excellent customer service

4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

5. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines

6. Receiving ongoing training and development to expand your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for:

• Some previous experience in an automotive or trades-related role, with a strong interest in the industry

• A keen attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both colleagues and customers

• A commitment to safety and a willingness to learn and develop new skills

• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

• Willingness to have a medical assessment, including Drug & Alcohol test
