TRUCK TECH is looking for a motivated Heavy Vehicle Apprentice (1st year to 4th Year) to join our growing Sunshine West workshop on a Monday to Friday day shift.

This is your chance to learn from some of the industry’s best technicians while working across a wide variety of trucks, trailers and buses. You’ll gain real hands-on experience from day one and be supported every step of the way.

About the Role

As a 1st Year Apprentice, you’ll work closely with our experienced technicians to develop the skills required to become a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician.

You’ll learn how to:

• Service and maintain heavy vehicles
• Carry out repairs under supervision
• Assist with diagnostics and fault finding
• Complete preventative maintenance
• Use workshop equipment safely and correctly
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Follow safe work practices
• Deliver quality workmanship

Every day is different, giving you exposure to a broad range of vehicles and repair work.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in heavy vehicles and the automotive industry
• Is reliable, motivated and eager to learn
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Takes pride in their work
• Holds a current driver’s licence (preferred)
• Is committed to completing a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology

No previous experience is required—just the right attitude.
