General Manager – In Home and Community Support

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven General Manager – In Home & Community Support (IHCS) to provide strategic leadership across one of estara’s largest service portfolios.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, financial sustainability, workforce capability, and high-quality, person-centred service delivery. You will lead transformational initiatives that strengthen productivity, enhance client outcomes, and support long-term organisational success.

Your Role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will:

• Lead the strategic direction and operational performance of the IHCS portfolio.
• Drive financial sustainability through effective budget, workforce and service management.
• Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services aligned with NDIS standards.
• Strengthen governance, risk management and organisational reporting.
• Inspire and develop a large multidisciplinary workforce.
• Lead service improvement, innovation and transformational change.
• Build strong relationships with participants, families, employees, funders and key stakeholders.

About You

You will bring:

• Senior leadership experience in disability, aged care or community services.
• Strong operational, financial and commercial management skills.
• Sound knowledge of the NDIS and community service delivery.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• A proven track record in service improvement and organisational change.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification.

Special Conditions

• Current South Australian driver’s licence.
• DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (minimum six months’ validity).
• Ability to undertake intrastate travel and occasional work outside standard business hours.
