Territory Manager - VIC North West

Karndean Designflooring is looking for a driven and relationship-focused professional to join our Australian Sales Team as our Retail Business Manager for North / West Victoria.

About the Role

You'll manage a well‑established portfolio of approximately 140 retail accounts across a diverse and rewarding territory. This is a field and home‑based role focused on building strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and partnering to deliver a premium customer experience. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to retailers, using data‑driven insights to support business growth through strategic account management, consultation, and hands‑on support.

Your Territory:

Regular travel is a key part of the role, including regional trips requiring you to be away from home approximately 30% of your time. Your territory covers:

• CBD & Inner North‑West: CBD (north‑west side), Sunshine, Essendon

• Northern Suburbs: Eltham, Thomastown, Coburg, Epping, Doreen

• Western Suburbs: Airport West, Caroline Springs, Melton

• Regional Victoria: Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Warrnambool, Swan Hill, Horsham

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets across your territory

• Build strong, trust‑based relationships with retail flooring partners

• Develop and execute territory‑specific business plans

• Provide product training, sales support, and in‑store guidance

• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts

• Share market insights and competitor intelligence with the wider sales team

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or account/territory management

• Experience in retail, commercial sales, or the flooring/interiors industry (desirable)

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills

• Strategic, organised, and comfortable planning autonomously

• Confident working independently, on the road, and across a broad territory
