About the role
As Rostering Coordinator, you will take the lead on building and maintaining The Cassidy Crew's master roster, working closely with the Operations and Finance Manager and the wider coordination team (including the Thursday roster crossover). You will be the first point of contact for shift changes, worker availability, and day-to-day HR queries from our support workforce, providing rostering leadership across the team, managing HR administration including onboarding of new starters, and aligning the master roster with the program-specific rosters run by Program Coordinators.
Key responsibilities
• Build, publish and maintain rosters in line with SCHADS Award requirements and client support plans
• Manage shift changes, sick leave cover, and last-minute rostering issues
• Respond to day-to-day HR and rostering queries from support workers
• Maintain accurate rostering records and support payroll accuracy
• Support HR administration, including new starter paperwork, personnel files, and staff inductions
• Coordinate onboarding for new starters and liaise directly with Program Coordinators on their program-specific rosters
• Contribute to the after-hours on-call roster rotation
• Work closely with the Quality and Compliance and Service teams to align rosters with client and worker needs
About you
• Experience with rostering or workforce management software (for example Employment Hero, ShiftCare, Deputy)
• Understanding of SCHADS Award conditions, or a fast learner with strong award and compliance instincts
• Background in disability, aged care, or community services highly regarded
• Comfortable with HR administration, including onboarding paperwork, personnel file maintenance, and inductions
• Confident liaising with Program Coordinators and other stakeholders, exercising independent judgement in day-to-day decisions
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and a valid driver's licence
