We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Payroll Officer to join our small but dedicated team. This permanent part-time role offers the opportunity to take ownership of payroll operations while also supporting key employee lifecycle processes across Australian Inclusion Group, Inclusion WA and Inclusion Solutions.

Working closely with the Accountant, People & Culture Lead and CEO you will play a vital role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, maintaining payroll compliance, supporting onboarding activities, and delivering responsive employee support.

About the Role

As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll services across multiple entities. You will also support employment contract administration, employee onboarding, payroll compliance, reporting and employee records management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time across multiple entities.
• Manage payroll enquiries, timesheets, leave, allowances, deductions and employee changes.
• Administer superannuation, salary packaging and paid parental leave.
• Prepare employment contracts, contract variations and support employee onboarding.
• Maintain accurate payroll and employee records and ensure compliance with legislation and the SCHADS Award.
• Coordinate payroll-related offboarding activities, including final pay processing and system updates.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and support audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll systems, processes and employee administration practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  
• Experience interpreting and applying the SCHADS Award.
• Experience using payroll and HR systems, with MYOB Advanced and Sentrient highly regarded.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence working with payroll data and systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet payroll deadlines.
• Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting employees and managers.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and an NDIS Workers Screening.
