Sales Manager Used Vehicles

At Grand Motors Toyota, we're seeking an exceptional Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department, develop our people, and drive outstanding results.

This is a key leadership position within our dealership. We're looking for someone who can build a high-performance culture, inspire their team to achieve excellence, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while maximising sales and profitability.

As our Used Car Sales Manager, you'll be empowered to take ownership of the department and play a significant role in the ongoing success of Grand Motors Toyota.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing used vehicle sales team.
• Create a culture built on accountability, teamwork, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Drive sales performance, profitability, and market share.
• Coach team members to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
• Source, appraise, and purchase quality used vehicle stock.
• Manage inventory levels, stock ageing, pricing strategies, and vehicle turn.
• Analyse department performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with the Finance, Service, and New Vehicle departments to maximise opportunities.
• Lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer care.

You are a proven automotive leader who understands that exceptional results come from developing exceptional people.

• Experience as a Used Car Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or senior automotive leader.
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong vehicle appraisal and stock management expertise.
• A track record of achieving strong sales and profitability outcomes.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen.
• Energy, resilience, and the ability to motivate a team through change and growth.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Current driver's licence.
