Tim Davies Landscaping (TDL) is a leading commercial and residential landscaping company in Western Australia that has been in the business for over 40 years. We have designed, constructed and maintained many of Western Australia’s most iconic gardens. Based on an all-inclusive design, construct and maintenance model, the business has been growing and evolving which has continued to strengthen our unique brand.

TDL now employs over 130 people on projects in Perth and the South West.

THE ROLES

Following significant growth in our Maintenance teams across the Perth Metro area, we are currently recruiting for additional Gardeners and experienced Lead Gardeners to join the team.

If you don’t have any hands-on experience yet and are looking for an entry-level role into the industry, we would encourage you to apply as we have a fantastic mentors and training plans to help you kick start your career.

As a Lead Gardener, you will have at least 3 years of experience and be able lead and mentor members of your team. Ideally you will have a trade certificate in Horticulture or a related field, and a current driver’s license (preferably MR or HR).

As a Gardener, you’ll be completing a range of general landscape maintenance tasks including but not limited to:

• Turf maintenance (cylinder, rotary and ride-on mowing)
• Gardening duties (pruning, hedging, weeding etc.)
• Pest & disease control
• Fertiliser application
• Irrigation maintenance
• Softscape upgrades

To be successful in either of these positions, you will be able to demonstrate:

• An ability to communicate effectively with your colleagues, sub-contractors and customers.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• You must be physically fit and willing to work within our health and safety guidelines.
