About the role
We are supporting a growing Australian organisation with a strong pipeline of investment opportunities. As the business continues to expand, they are looking to appoint a Lead Financial Modeller to join their commercial team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Modeller to lead and mentor a team of Analysts while overseeing the delivery of high-quality financial modelling across the business.
You will take ownership of the corporate financial model and play a key role in supporting acquisitions, new investment opportunities, asset valuations and strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of AnalystsOversee the quality and delivery of financial modelling across the teamOwn and continuously enhance the corporate financial modelBuild and review financial models to support acquisitions, investment opportunities and asset valuationsPrepare financial analysis, business cases and board reporting to support strategic decision makingWork closely with senior stakeholders to support commercial growth initiatives
About You
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team within a financial modelling environmentStrong financial modelling and valuation experience, including DCF analysis and investment appraisal methodologiesAdvanced Excel and financial modelling skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving ability with strong attention to detailStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
