We are looking for a Casual Cook to join our team at Oolong Hostel in Howlong, NSW.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
Strong time management and communication skills
Understanding of residents' rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk
Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively
Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and special dietary needs
Experience in Aged Care desirable
Current First Aid Certificate desirable
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Availability to work weekend shifts
Competitive remuneration
$33–$36 per hour base salary. The rate offered within this range will depend on your skills, qualifications and level of experience

The successful candidate will be required to have completed, or be willing to undertake, the following:
