Carina Leagues Club is looking for a passionate and experienced Duty Manager to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and growing community club, with further expansion soon to open with internal food and beverage outlets and new Bayside venues on the horizon.

As Duty Manager, you will be a visible and hands-on leader, responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Club while creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

You’ll lead from the floor, support and develop our team, maintain high operational standards and help drive a positive and energetic club environment.

This is a full-time, salaried position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is ready to grow their career with an expanding organisation.

• Lead and support team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences across the Club

• Oversee daily venue operations, including staffing, service delivery and floor leadership

• Be a visible and approachable leader who leads by example

• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally

• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming regulations, AML/CTF, WHS and responsible service requirements

• Support management with operational standards, team performance and continuous improvement

• Oversee opening and closing procedures

• Maintain high standards of venue presentation, service and safety

• Support a positive team culture and contribute to the ongoing development of our people

You’re confident, approachable and enjoy leading from the front. You thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and you’re passionate about creating great experiences for members, guests and your team.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Venue Manager or hospitality leadership role, preferably within the club, gaming or hospitality industry

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• A genuine commitment to exceptional customer service

• Sound knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming compliance, AML/CTF and WHS obligations

• Experience with cash handling, reconciliation and general venue operations

• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills

• The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Above-award salary package

• 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading
