The Opportunity:

CBRE is seeking an experienced Data & AI Architect to lead the design, delivery and evolution of our enterprise Data & AI capability across the Pacific business. This is a unique opportunity to shape strategy, lead a high-performing team, and remain hands-on delivering impactful data and AI solutions. 

Working closely with senior business and technology leaders, you'll drive the architecture roadmap, establish best practice across the organisation, and deliver scalable data, analytics and AI platforms that enable smarter decision-making and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Data & AI professionals. 
• Own CBRE's Data & AI architecture strategy and roadmap. 
• Establish current and future-state data architecture aligned to business and technology strategy.
• Provide architectural leadership across data domains, platforms, integrations and data flows.
• Guide the design of cloud-based data platforms, models, pipelines and storage architectures.
• Ensure platforms and data ingestion are scalable, secure, cost-efficient and aligned to enterprise standards.
• Drive modernisation initiatives, to rationalise data stores and platforms to reduce duplication and promote reuse.
• Build AI-ready data foundations that support innovation and advanced analytics.
• Remain hands-on across architecture, solution design and strategic project delivery. 

About You:

• 10+ years in data engineering, data/solution architecture or AI/ML platform roles, including 5+ years in a senior architecture/leadership capacity.
• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-based data platforms (Lakehouse architectures on Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks or Snowflake).
• Experience designing and deploying AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions. 
• Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, MLOps and Vector Database architectures. 
• Strong understanding of data architecture, modelling, integration and governance practices.
• Hands-on technical capability in Python, Java, JavaScript or C#.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, team leadership and influencing skills.
• The ability to balance long-term strategy with practical delivery outcome
