Charlie & Franks Group is a growing hospitality business operating premium cafés, corporate catering services and large-scale events across Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead our café catering operations across our St Leonards location. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Working closely with senior management, you will oversee daily operations, drive team performance, maintain service standards, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

As Café Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your café including operations, customer service, team leadership and financial outcomes.

• Manage day-to-day store operations

• Lead, train and develop a team of approximately 6–10 staff

• Deliver exceptional customer service and guest experiences

• Maintain food, beverage and presentation standards

• Manage rosters, labour costs and productivity targets

• Conduct stocktakes and oversee inventory management

• Monitor ordering and supplier requirements

• Drive sales performance and customer engagement initiatives

• Manage catering order coordination and customer enquiries

• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety requirements

• Complete operational reporting and administrative duties

• Resolve customer feedback professionally and efficiently

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager role

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Experience managing labour costs, stock control and operational budgets

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude

• Current RSA Certificate

• Full working rights in Australia

• Reliable transport and flexibility to work in St Leonards location
