NewSpark Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd – Newcastle, NSW

NewSpark Electrical Solutions is seeking a Level 2 ASP Electrician or experienced Qualified Electrician to join our growing team in Newcastle.

We have a strong pipeline of ongoing work across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter, with a good mix of Level 2, residential, commercial and maintenance work.

If you already hold Level 2 ASP accreditation, we have consistent Level 2 work available. We are also interested in experienced electricians looking to broaden their skills and progress within the business.

The Role

Your work may include:

• Level 2 ASP disconnect and reconnect works

• Overhead and underground services

• Consumer mains upgrades

• Point of attachment upgrades

• Private pole installations and replacements

• Metering and switchboard upgrades

• Main switchboard relocations

• Fault finding and maintenance

• Residential and commercial electrical works

• Testing and verification

• Completing job and compliance documentation

• Liaising with customers, builders and other trades

• Supervising and assisting apprentices where required

About You

To be considered, you will need:

• Current NSW Electrical Licence

• Current driver’s licence

• Construction White Card

• Australian working rights

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• High standard of workmanship

• Good knowledge of electrical safety and compliance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, motivated and willing to take responsibility for your work

Highly Regarded

• Level 2 ASP accreditation

• Ausgrid Level 2 experience

• Overhead and underground service experience

• Metering experience

• Consumer mains and switchboard upgrade experience

• Experience supervising apprentices
