Graduate Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Brisbane-based team and commence their engineering career within a diverse and growing marine organisation.

Working closely with our Head of Engineering and Technical Team, this role will provide exposure to a broad range of engineering, maintenance and compliance activities across our fleet and marine operations. You will gain hands-on experience supporting vessel maintenance programs, technical projects, regulatory compliance and operational initiatives while learning from experienced industry professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to develop their technical capabilities, build industry knowledge and establish a long-term career within the marine sector.

Key responsibilities

Assisting with the planning and scheduling of vessel maintenance and major worksSupporting technical projects, dockings and engineering initiatives across the businessAssisting with compliance activities relating to ISM, ISO, AMSA and Class requirementsParticipating in technical audits and maintenance system activitiesContributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projectsSupporting the delivery of safe and efficient vessel operations across multiple business unitsAssisting with reporting and technical documentation requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A recently completed degree in Marine Engineering or a related engineering disciplineA genuine interest in the marine industry and vessel operationsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesA proactive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentFlexibility to travel when required
