Short Haul HC Driver - Cardwell to Townsville

About the role:

• Position: Full-time, permanent based in Cardwell travelling to Townsville.

• Hours: Monday to Friday | overnight run

What you’ll do:
✅ Transport general freight to support our Townsville branch and local community, delivering outstanding customer service
✅ Driving a modern fleet to complete your deliveries
✅ Use PDAs to scan freight and capture live signatures, ensuring visibility across the network
✅ Follow set procedures and safety standards to maintain smooth, precise operations
✅ Work at a steady, methodical pace to uphold accuracy and quality

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous

• Hold a current Heavy Combination Licence with experience

• Forklift licence and experience desirable but not essential

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, and a criminal history check

• Professional Mindset: A strong sense of accountability and commitment to delivering thorough, dependable work

• Ability to work consistently with a focus on producing high-quality, detailed work based on established guidelines, standards, and procedures

• Comfortable in a stable environment, working with repetitive routines and well-defined processes

• Ability to collaborate with peers and management to ensure efficient, error-free work.
