Chefs and Cooks and Apprentice Chefs

Chu the Phat's cuisine is inspired by the streets of Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong and Executive Chef Brendon Barker of the renowned Brisbane restaurant Madame Wu.

We are searching for Chefs and Apprentice Chefs to join the team at Chu the Phat. We are looking for talented people to drive our kitchen and culinary program forward. These roles play a vital part of a young, dynamic environment and team. There are great career opportunities for Cooks and Chefs with proven experience in similar roles who are passionate and eager to advance their skills in a modern environment.

To be considered for these exciting positions, you must possess the following:

• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards

• Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards

• Understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP

• Flexible availability of a 7 day/night roster

In addition for Qualified Chefs:

• Trade qualifications

• Excellent technical knowledge with experience in all cooking techniques and styles

• Experience leading staff during service

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a natural talent for cooking and passion to serve modern fine dining food in a casual environment. A background in a similar environment would be beneficial, but not necessary
