About the role

Position: Full-Time
Mint Airconditioning & Refrigeration is a locally trusted business specialising in air conditioning and refrigeration services across the Canberra region. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service, reliable installations, and long-term client relationships.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to join our team and hit the ground running. This role is critical in overseeing both our service and installation teams, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Manage and oversee the service and installation teams, including scheduling, resourcing, and performance monitoring.
Coordinate day-to-day duties to ensure timely and professional delivery of works.
Liaise directly with clients, builders, property managers, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships.
Provide technical guidance, support, and leadership to field staff.
Monitor job progress, quality control, and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Report directly to the Director on team performance, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Drive efficiency, productivity, and customer service excellence within the department.
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the air conditioning, refrigeration, or mechanical services industry.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installations, and service requirements.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of technicians and installers.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
Current driver’s licence; trade qualification highly regarded but not essential.
Canberra or surrounding area residency (essential)
Experience with SIMPRO
A leadership role in a growing and respected Canberra business.
