Apprentice Diesel Mechanic

National Transport Company are looking for Diesel Mechanic Apprentices to join our team. Second- & third-year apprentices encouraged to apply

Modern workshop providing the latest technology and facilities with above award conditions and a safe, clean and healthy work environment.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of diesel mechanics are responsible for the professional maintenance and repairs of truck and tanker fleet.

The successful applicant will be responsible for;

Assisting with repairs, servicing and testing to company vehicles, trailers and equipment as per company service schedule

Assist with diagnostic and preventative maintenance and initiatives.

Attending TAFE and complete studies each month.

Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy.

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience.

Current car license.

Reliable with a good work ethic.

Motivated and team orientated

Medically fit and prepared to Undertake a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol screening.

Previous mechanical experience preferred.

Company uniform supplied, permanent, full-time position. Immediate start.
