Our experience is in residential, industrial, rural, commercial and government projects, across all property asset classes, including retirement, aged care, agriculture, mining, residential mixed use, hotels, office leasing portfolios, shopping centres and infrastructure. 
  
About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to work in a busy and fast paced established property practice under the guidance of Claire Day (our joint National Head of Group) and Jean Paul Fraticelli, one of our emerging and dynamic Property Partners.   
  
The role would be working closely with these two partners and assisting them in delivering high-quality legal work to their large range of clients, in a commercial and efficient manner, which includes:

• Managing a robust workload and having day to day carriage of transactional property matters including acquisitions and disposals of large development sites, joint venture agreements, put and call options and commercial and retail leasing; and
• Providing clients with both commercial and legal advice; and
• Working closely with the existing team of lawyers, associates, senior associates and development licensed conveyancers and paralegals.

About you:

• At least 5+ years' PAE 
• A strong academic record
• Previous property experience from a respected firm including sale and purchase of large commercial, residential, industrial and rural property, commercial and retail leasing.
• Strong technical skills, including a strong knowledge of property law (including the ability to manage transactions on PEXA), strong negotiation skills and critical thinking ability as well as excellent drafting skills
• Exceptional communication skills both with your colleagues and clients alike.
• Have the ability to undertake carriage of matters autonomously and under the supervision of Partners and other senior lawyers
