Technical Services Superintendent

• Tin mine and processing plant restart - 5/2 DIDO or FIFO 8/6
• Initial 4 – 6 months, with potential for extension
• Must be based in QLD

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Services Superintendent to join MEC for a 4-6 month opportunity, working directly alongside one of our client sites. The role has become available due to our client entering execution.

• You will be embedded in our client’s team (operator).
• Support and technical back up from your manager and peers.
• Your chance to experience working alongside owner operator AND contractor teams.

What you will be doing:

• Contractor management of multidisciplinary technical team (up to 10).
• This will include one of our own MEC Mine Geologists.
• General mine planning and design. Lead and implement 2-week plans.
• Technical work support as required.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in effective contract management and people leadership.
• Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent & recognised qualification).
• Professional approach when representing MEC on site.
• Current and unrestricted working rights for Australia.
• Deswik Design and Spry experience (not essential).
