Junior Real Estate Associate

We are Mooloolaba's #1 real estate agency, led by Mooloolaba's #1 agent, Grant Whisker. As a boutique agency, you'll work closely with our agents and be exposed to the entire sales process rather than disappearing into the background of a large team.

For the right person, this role comes with genuine career progression. You'll begin by learning the foundations of the industry, develop into greater sales responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow, and have a clear pathway towards becoming a Sales Associate and, ultimately, building a career as a standalone Sales Agent.

We want to find someone we can invest in for the long term.

The role
Initially, you'll be involved in the day-to-day operations that support our sales team, gaining a strong understanding of the systems, processes and attention to detail behind every successful sales campaign.

You'll work primarily alongside the Principals Sales Associate while also supporting the Principal and the wider Whisker Coastal Property team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting at open homes and buyer appointments, including regular Saturday work as required

• Database management and learning how successful agents build and nurture relationships

• General sales administration and campaign support

• Assisting agents with day-to-day activities in and out of the office

• Preparing and distributing marketing and prospecting material

• Letterbox drops and other local area marketing activities

• Supporting property campaigns from preparation through to sale

• Learning our CRM, systems and internal processes

• Gaining practical, on-the-job exposure to the sales process

• Participating in our weekly sales training

• Gradually taking on greater responsibility as your knowledge, confidence and capability develop

As you progress, we'll begin introducing you to areas such as prospecting, buyer management, client communication and the skills required to become a successful sales associate. This isn't a role where we expect you to know everything from day one. We want to teach you.

Experience in real estate isn't what will get you this role. Attitude will.

Most importantly, we want someone who understands that real estate isn't always glamorous.

Successful agents don't start their careers simply attending listing presentations and negotiating million-dollar properties. They learn by doing everything — setting up open homes, updating databases, preparing campaigns, delivering marketing, following processes and helping wherever they're needed. We're looking for someone willing to embrace those foundational jobs, because that's where you'll learn how the industry really works.
