Land Management Officer - Alice Springs

OUR STORY

The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres. 

The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

THE ROLE

• LM012 - Land Management Officer
• Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract until 30 August 2027

KEY FUNCTIONS

Represent the aspirations of traditional owners for the use and management of their land in designated CLC sub-regions and oversee responses to identified natural resource management and sustainable land use issues affecting their interests.

REMUNERATION & REMARKABLE BENEFITS

Base Salary Range: Starting from $83,685 p.a. (negotiable classification banding based on skills and experience, subject to CLC EA guidelines and authorised approval).

Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
