GROUNDSPERSON/MAINTENANCE

Do you love gardening/maintenance?  Do you enjoy spending the majority of your day outdoors?  Are you reliable?  Do you take pride in your work?  Are you proactive and able to work with minimal supervision?  If you've answered YES to these questions, then we are waiting to hear from you!

We are seeking a Grounds person/Maintenance person for our motel located near the Brisbane Airport.

Duties include but are not limited to:-

• Maintenance jobs on site (nothing that would require a qualified plumber or an electrician) - General washers, toilet seats, generic repairs to furniture, swap out locks.

• Gardening - mowing, weeding, fertilizing, rubbish removal and blowing

• Cobweb removal, pressure cleaning, taking out wheelie bins and general cleaning of site

• Mulching, replanting as necessary

• Maintain reticulation system

• Pressure washing

• The Occasional Tip Run

• Bins to the verge for collection and return

• Basic Patch and Painting as required

• Swimming Pool - skimming leaves, managing the kreepy krawly in between pool contractor visits, backwash the filter as applicable, check for leaks and damages

Hours required: - 15-25 hours per week - Monday - Friday - hours negotiable and can be discussed during interview process.  Position will commence as a casual position during a qualifying period and can be converted to permanent upon request after probationary/qualifying period is complete.
