Senior Speech Pathologist

Mayfield Health is growing, and we are looking for an Senior Speech Pathologist who wants more than just a clinical role, someone who wants to help shape the future of speech pathology services and play an active role in preparing Mayfield Health for the upcoming Thriving Kids program.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist who wants to take an active leadership role in developing Mayfield’s Speech Pathology division.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Help design and implement innovative speech pathology programs focused on early intervention, measurable outcomes, and value for families
• Develop goal-driven therapy models that focus on achieving real-world improvements for children
• Contribute to preparing Mayfield Health for the future Thriving Kids model, expanding beyond traditional NDIS-only service delivery
• Lead and develop fun group programs, including LEGO, Cooking, social skills, and emotional regulation groups
• Contribute to leading parent coaching and family support programs
• Design and run school readiness, and parent education programs and
• Work collaboratively with our Allied Health Assistants to develop structured programs that allow us to support more children and families while maintaining excellent clinical care
• Mentor and guide the growth of our speech pathology services

• 4-5 clients per day, allowing appropriate time for travel, clinical planning, administration, reporting, and professional development
• A workload structure designed to support quality outcomes and reduce clinician burnout
• Flexibility to develop a schedule and travel route that works with your lifestyle

Mayfield Health provides allied health services across Melbourne’s south-east, and Mornington Peninsula supporting children and families through evidence-based early intervention.

Our clinics are located in:

Frankston and Dandenong

Our clients come from across the region, including areas such as:

• Pakenham
• Cranbourne
• Berwick
• Frankston Peninsula
• Mentone and surrounding suburbs

You will work with our team to create a service schedule and travel route that suits your preferences.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dandenong VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Speech therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• AHPRA registration (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
